Danielle Simmons is a highly successful, self-starter with a passion for advancing society through research and technology. Danielle received her Juris Doctorate degree from Ave Maria School of Law focusing her studies on intellectual property law and taxation law. While attending law school, Ms. Simmons was dedicated to providing the community with exceptional tax services by developing and supervising Ave Maria’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinic.
Ms. Simmons graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor chemistry and obtained her Doctorate in Philosophy in structural biology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. During her graduate career she conducted research at the Hauptman Woodward Medical Research Institute where became familiar with multiple scientific techniques in chemistry, biology and physics focusing on rational drug design and membrane protein crystallography. She conducted her research was under the direction of numerous well renown scientists including Dr. Herbert Hauptman who was awarded the 1985 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Ms. Simmons was awarded the Chung Soo Yoo award for best graduate student presentation and was ranked in the top 10% among the entering class of the school of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Steven Pawlyshyn is a proactive, high-achieving executive with over 15 years of experience derived from a solid formal education consisting of a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law.
Prior to beginning his legal career, Steve was a former Corporate Account Manager of a $50 MM sales subsidiary of General Electric, a major, Fortune 10 global company and has founded and managed three small businesses in Indiana. Steve has taken on several multi-functional responsibilities throughout his career including legal, risk management, marketing, human resources, strategic planning, finance and engineering. Steve’s prior responsibility reflects outstanding career growth and progress through various industries including petroleum, energy, chemical, and transportation industries.
Before joining the Firm, Steve was an intern at the United States Patent and Trademark Office where he gained valuable experience and increased his knowledge of the Patent Examining Procedure and the Patent Prosecution process. Steve is currently a law clerk at the firm who assists attorneys with research and case preparation.
Carol Ronnebaum is the office manager and “go to” person at the Sorge Law Firm, LLC. Mrs. Ronnebaum is personable, knowledgable and able to assist with questions and issues. She enjoys listening and helping clients so their legal issues can be resolved as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Carol has been a committed employee of the firm for over 10 years and greatly helped with the expansion of the Firm. She also has over 20 years of experience as a legal secretary. She received her associate’s degree from University of Dayton in Business specializing in executive secretarial studies.
She is married to Ray Ronnebaum and together have 5 children and 1 grandchild: Eric who is a computer engineer; Craig who is an electrical engineer; Ashley a 3rd year nursing student at Marian University; Jarrid a Sophomore at Butler University; Jerica, a junior at East Central High School, and grandson Ryan. Carol and Ray enjoy taking cruises, building homes for their children and spending time with their children.

Over the years, he has represented countless members of the community pro-bono and has volunteered his time to numerous community organizations. He is a past President and current member of the Dearborn/Ohio County Bar Association. Gary is also on the Board for the Greendale Cemetery Association. For well over a decade, he has been a member of the St. Lawrence Parish and National Rifle Association.
